Role Overview
We are seeking a certified Workday Payroll Consultant for a contract engagement lasting 2 to 3 months, requiring approximately 20 hours of work per week. This position involves hands-on configuration and active payroll support across diverse client Workday environments.
Key Duties
- Manage and support Workday Payroll setup and production tasks.
- Diagnose and resolve payroll calculation, configuration, and processing challenges.
- Conduct thorough payroll testing, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Analyze and review payroll business processes including earnings, deductions, and calculation protocols.
- Assist with payroll updates, defect resolution, and client-requested modifications.
- Engage directly with payroll and human resource stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide assistance with Workday Absence and Time Tracking functionality as required.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and facilitate effective knowledge transfer.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Workday Payroll configuration.
- Experience supporting payroll operations in production or Application Management Services (AMS) environments.
- Deep understanding of payroll testing procedures, processing workflows, and reconciliation techniques.
- Proven ability to independently resolve intricate payroll issues.
- Strong communication skills with experience in client-facing roles.
- Workday Absence or Time Tracking expertise is an added advantage.
- Must hold an active Workday Payroll certification transferable to the Workday services partner.
