Role Summary
The Wholesale Intern will support the VP of Wholesale in handling various reporting tasks and operational activities. Responsibilities include managing sales and inventory data, assisting with showroom and market preparations, handling samples, and performing competitive product analyses. The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Aid in preparing for market and showroom activities.
- Take on entry-level account duties such as showroom displays and verifying orders.
- Oversee the management of all product samples.
- Analyze weekly reports to identify and communicate important findings.
- Conduct store visits to evaluate products and competitor offerings.
- Prepare competitive market analysis reports and client purchase books.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Must have previously interned in a wholesale environment.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including creating pivot tables and utilizing lookup formulas, with solid foundational skills.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Exposure to sample tracking and return authorization processes is advantageous.
- Availability to work onsite at least two to three days per week.
