Job Overview

We are inviting applications from enthusiastic and proficient Western Dance Teachers to join our faculty. The successful candidate will possess expertise in diverse Western dance forms and will be responsible for choreographing performances and facilitating a dynamic learning environment that nurtures creativity, rhythm, and self-expression among students.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students across various Western dance styles including Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Salsa, and Freestyle.
• Develop and choreograph dance routines for school functions, competitions, and annual showcases.
• Evaluate student progress and offer tailored guidance to improve dance skills.
• Create structured lesson plans introducing different dance techniques and movements.
• Organize and lead extracurricular activities such as dance clubs, workshops, and after-school programs.
• Assist in event planning and execution, including cultural programs, inter-school competitions, and annual day performances.
• Promote fitness, flexibility, and discipline through dance training.
• Collaborate with performing arts faculty and school administration to integrate dance within the broader curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, lively, and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Diploma or Degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Western dance for children and teenagers.
• Proven experience in choreography and stage performance management.

Skills

• Expertise in multiple Western dance styles.
• Strong motivational and teaching abilities.
• Effective communication and classroom management skills.

• Work Schedule: Day shift.
• Location: Onsite at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh; candidates must be able to commute reliably or be willing to relocate (relocation assistance is preferred).
