Job description

Role Overview

The Warehouse Audit Supervisor for Hardware and Chemical sectors is tasked with governing compliance and operational standards within warehouse settings. This position emphasizes upholding 6S management principles, verifying accurate inventory records, enforcing safety and environmental regulations, and driving procedures for ongoing operational enhancements.

Primary Duties

  • Create and sustain auditing systems and 6S standards to ensure cleanliness, order, and safety.
  • Conduct routine inspections and oversee corrective actions, verifying effective implementation.
  • Audit inventory controls to confirm physical items match records and designated locations.
  • Ensure proper labeling and secure storage, including handling of hazardous materials.
  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled inventory verifications, address discrepancies through departmental coordination.
  • Compile detailed audit reports, analyze trends, and propose efficiency upgrades.
  • Maintain compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental policies.
  • Work closely with procurement, production, and safety teams to optimize material handling and reporting workflows.
  • Foster a workplace culture prioritizing accountability, data accuracy, and continuous progress.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance summaries with key insights to senior leadership.

Candidate Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years experience in warehouse logistics, auditing, or inventory control; familiarity with ceramics, chemicals, or manufacturing sectors preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of 6S methodology, compliance audits, and warehouse management best practices.
  • Exceptional detail orientation and accuracy in data management.
  • Strong analytical thinking and comprehensive report writing capabilities.
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel and various office applications for data analysis and records.
  • Demonstrated responsibility, teamwork, and proactive improvement drive.
  • Effective communication skills with aptitude for cross-department collaboration.
