Role Overview

The Waiter/ess role at Rosewood Red Sea involves delivering exceptional food and beverage services to guests, adhering to Rosewood's luxury hospitality standards. The main objective is to provide a tailored, attentive, and memorable dining atmosphere through expert service and thorough product knowledge, ensuring guest satisfaction and efficient operation of the outlet.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform service in line with Rosewood brand, Forbes, and LQA quality standards consistently.
• Create a refined and personalized dining experience, anticipating guest needs proactively.
• Maintain professional visibility and prompt, courteous service in assigned areas.
• Possess and communicate comprehensive knowledge about menu items, preparation methods, beverage selections, and promotions.
• Accommodate guest preferences, dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests carefully and accurately.
• Address guest inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating when required.
• Ensure timely and precise order taking and delivery, collaborating closely with Culinary and service teams.
• Keep workstations and service areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Support VIP and special event setups and enhance guest recognition efforts.
• Engage in suggestive selling to maximize revenue, ensure accurate billing, and comply with cash handling procedures.
• Assist in inventory management, waste reduction, and resource control with timely reporting of shortages or issues.
• Maintain high grooming and professionalism standards, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
• Support team training, effective communication across departments, and embrace operational flexibility as needed.
• Comply with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and emergency procedures while safeguarding confidentiality of all sensitive information.
• Promote a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to HACCP and safety standards.
