Visual Designer

About the Role

Join our Strategic Operations department as a Visual Designer based in Glendale, CA. Working onsite three days a week, you will be an essential part of the Experience Design team, shaping and advancing our company’s visual language and branding across a variety of platforms. Your creative expertise will be key in enhancing communication through compelling visual designs that effectively connect with audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop design ideas for different business segments, transforming complex concepts into clear and impactful design elements and graphics.
• Create and maintain brand identity standards, including design guidelines and style manuals, to ensure consistency with stakeholder expectations and brand integrity.
• Produce and deliver all necessary design assets such as style guides, presentation templates, branding materials, and documentation supporting project goals.
• Craft client presentations that engage and inspire, aligning them closely with brand principles with support from the design team.
• Confidently present and explain design directions, concepts, and ideas to both internal teams and external clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional design teams including Visual, UI, UX, and Product colleagues to evolve and enhance our brand and design language.
• Plan and estimate design workloads accurately, proactively addressing dependencies and potential issues.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the wider design team by participating in initiatives such as process improvements, tool evaluations, and template creation.
• Innovate and challenge traditional design norms by applying fresh and inventive approaches to complex visual challenges.

Qualifications

A degree is preferred, although equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
