Video Editor

Role Overview

The Video Editor will be accountable for cutting, assembling, and enhancing video materials created by the company for diverse occasions such as weddings, events, marketing initiatives, and branding projects. This role demands a high degree of technical skill, creativity, discipline, and the ability to meet strict production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw videos into polished final products, including cinematic wedding films, event highlight reels, promotional videos, and content for social media platforms.
• Organize and safeguard raw video footage, audio clips, project files, and finalized videos in a systematic way to promote smooth workflows and protect data integrity.
• Apply color correction, grading, stabilization, transitions, and other visual refinements to enhance video quality and ensure visual consistency.
• Edit and sync audio tracks by removing noise, balancing sound levels, and incorporating background music, voiceovers, and sound effects where necessary.
• Craft compelling video narratives that align with the brand’s style and client objectives using creative sequencing methods.
• Demonstrate proficiency with industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent tools utilized by the company.
• Collaborate closely with photographers, cinematographers, content creators, and management to meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Strictly follow deadlines for editing and delivering projects.
• Efficiently interpret and integrate client feedback and revisions to produce final deliverables that fulfill quality expectations.
• Ensure confidentiality of all client footage, company data, and production assets at all times.
