Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Tendering Specialist to join our team on-site in Vishakhapatnam. This role demands management of the entire tender lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to thorough analysis, preparation, and on-time submission of tender documents in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.

The incumbent will collaborate closely with departments including sales, finance, legal, and technical teams to compile inputs and devise competitive proposals tailored to medical imaging projects. Responsibilities also include maintaining comprehensive tender databases, monitoring tender results, assisting in contract negotiations, and contributing to pricing and procurement strategies. Keeping abreast of government and institutional procurement portals and regulations is also essential, as is championing improvements to tendering procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Expertise in managing complete tender processes, including procurement and vendor/customer interactions.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate tender details such as pricing, risks, and competitive positioning.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Proficient in proposal writing to produce clear, compliant, and persuasive technical and commercial documents.
  • Experience with government or institutional tenders, preferably within healthcare, medical devices, or capital equipment sectors.
  • Knowledge of public procurement guidelines, e-tender portals, and contract terms, both commercial and legal.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management to handle multiple simultaneous tenders with strict deadlines.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, commerce, or related disciplines; advanced certifications in procurement or contract management are advantageous.
