Technical Operator

As a Technical Operator at our Tema Factory in Ghana, you'll help bring beloved brands like Nido, Ideal Milk, and Carnation to consumers by ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient operation of production lines that meet the highest hygiene and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machinery following Quality Management Standards (QMS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and specific work instructions, with a strong focus on personal and team safety.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic workspace by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP protocols, and housekeeping routines throughout shifts.
• Ensure that material inputs comply with approved recipes, remain within target specifications, and follow First In, First Out (FIFO) principles.
• Conduct equipment activities including startup, operation, cleaning, inspections, lubrication, centerlining, changeover, maintenance, and shutdown, while monitoring operational parameters and documenting for traceability.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Have at least 2 years of production experience, preferably within the food or FMCG sector.
• Strong understanding of production and technical line operations.
• Effective English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Practical experience in operating machinery and production devices safely and efficiently.
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues and contribute to continuous production line improvements.
• Intermediate computer skills for digital reporting, documentation, and operational tracking.
