This opportunity is fully remote with 100% telework.

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and implement processes and procedures within the Google Cloud Security SOC to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with process and automation teams to integrate new Google products and services into the operational environment.
- Assess and improve Google technology and tools used in the SOC to maintain robust protection against current threats.
- Work with strategic clients to tailor SOC processes according to their needs and conduct proof of concepts (POCs).
- Define metrics and reporting systems to evaluate operational effectiveness and the impact of new solutions, including Gemini.
- Train and mentor the SOC team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Document architectures, deployment guidelines, and best practices thoroughly.
- Design innovative security products and services based on Google Cloud, such as assessments and consulting offerings.
- Identify synergies and operational efficiencies to optimize resource use.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- More than 5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations including SOC, SecOps, and Cloud Security.
- Proven experience with SIEM, YARA-L, detection rules, and ingestion pipelines.
- Deep technical understanding of Google Cloud Platform and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience working with Google Cloud Security solutions such as SIEM, Threat Intelligence, and Cloud Security services.
- Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level (mandatory).
