Role Overview
We seek a dynamic Technical Customer Interface Manager to join our team and contribute meaningfully in a continuously evolving environment. The ideal candidate will exhibit creativity in problem-solving, a willingness to grow, and an ability to make a significant impact both presently and in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Possess deep knowledge and practical experience with Westinghouse/Westrace Interlocking Mk1 & Mk2 systems, including both hardware and software components.
- Manage Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and handle installation, commissioning, and testing of interlocking systems on-site.
- Diagnose and resolve site failures promptly, particularly during emergencies or critical situations.
- Lead and guide site personnel through failure analysis and the resolution of technical issues.
- Prepare comprehensive technical failure reports detailing observations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive strategies.
- Engage effectively with customers, clearly explaining technical faults and participating confidently in meetings.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation such as failure count reports, open and closed issue logs, and FRPCPY tracking in collaboration with the team.
- Adhere to ISO quality standards and follow established quality workflows diligently.
- Proactively identify potential problems, recommend enhancements, and implement solutions to prevent recurring failures.
- Demonstrate strong technical expertise in railway interlocking systems and their core principles.
- Deliver technical training sessions to both internal staff and external customer representatives.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and thorough technical evaluations of performed work.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a bachelor's degree.
- At least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Holding an IRSETLO or IRSE license is considered an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
