Role Overview
The Tarificator plays a critical role in preparing, maintaining, and updating the tariff structures, price listings, and special promotions for Luxe Voyage Ltd's travel packages. This full-time position requires working onsite at our Port Louis office. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing pricing details from various suppliers, ensuring contractual terms are accurately reflected, and updating internal systems along with client proposals.
The role demands close coordination with sales, reservations, and finance teams to provide prompt and accurate pricing details, support quotation generation, and modify tariffs corresponding to seasonal dynamics or marketing campaigns. Routine activities involve data entry, resolving pricing discrepancies, creating pricing reports, and communicating tariff changes or errors to relevant parties. Additionally, the position contributes to refining processes to enhance efficiency and transparency in tariff management.
Qualifications
- Excellent numerical aptitude, analytical capabilities, and meticulousness in managing tariffs and pricing data.
- Proficiency with office software, especially Excel or equivalents, along with experience handling pricing databases or reservation platforms.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively liaise among sales, reservations, finance departments, and external suppliers.
- Organizational prowess and the ability to handle multiple pricing requests and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Capacity to understand and implement company policies, interpret supplier contracts, and adhere to compliance standards associated with pricing.
- Prior exposure to travel, tourism, hospitality sectors, or pricing roles is advantageous.
- Completion of secondary education is required; additional qualifications such as diplomas or degrees in business, tourism, or related fields are beneficial.
- Willingness to work onsite in Port Louis and adapt to evolving technologies, processes, and market conditions.
