About the Role
Join Sense in Seaton, Devon, where we help individuals with complex disabilities lead the lives they choose. As a Support Worker, you'll be part of a close-knit residential team supporting six adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. Your role will involve helping them engage in daily activities such as walks along the seafront, visits to local cafés, and exploring the surrounding countryside.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting with everyday household tasks including cooking and cleaning.
- Providing personal care and maintaining hygiene.
- Managing finances and administering medication.
- Accompanying service users to community outings, shopping, and social events.
- Promoting independence and overall wellbeing in all aspects of support.
Training and Experience
No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided. The role requires compassion, the right values, and a strong desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
