Position Overview
We are expanding our team and inviting applications for the role of NDIS Support Coordinator, available on both permanent part-time and full-time bases. This role is ideal for individuals dedicated to supporting people with disabilities, helping them understand and navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to reach their personal goals with confidence.
Key Duties
- Assist NDIS participants in comprehending and applying their plans effectively.
- Link participants to relevant community supports and services.
- Enhance participant independence by building their capacity to achieve goals.
- Coordinate necessary services and advocate on behalf of participants when needed.
- Ensure meticulous record-keeping in line with NDIS Practice Standards.
- Foster strong relationships with participants, their families, service providers, and other important stakeholders.
Mandatory Qualifications and Experience
- At least two years of experience as an NDIS Support Coordinator.
- Relevant qualification from TAFE or tertiary education in Community Services, Social Work, Disability, Psychology, or similar disciplines.
- Valid Working With Children Check.
- Current National Police Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check up to date.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of the NDIS framework, legislation, and local service networks.
- Possession of a current Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
