Role Overview
We seek a seasoned Learning and Development expert to lead and expand our learning programs. This key role involves crafting our learning strategy, enhancing current initiatives, and developing new ones to support growth at all employee levels—from onboarding through leadership development and continuous professional progression.
The position entails ownership of learning throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, fraud education, managerial training, leadership capability building, performance enablement, and knowledge dissemination. While some programs exist, many need to be initiated, targeting areas with the greatest strategic impact.
This role directly reports to the Head of People and collaborates extensively with leadership across departments.
Primary Responsibilities
- Formulate and own the comprehensive learning and development strategy, pinpointing skill gaps and prioritizing initiatives with demonstrable business benefits.
- Create, refine, and sustain learning programs covering company and departmental onboarding, fraud education, managerial and leadership development, and continuous employee growth.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify capability requirements and implement effective learning solutions that elevate both individual and organizational performance.
- Design and conduct dynamic workshops, training sessions, and immersive learning experiences for various employee groups including managers and executives.
- Enhance knowledge sharing and employee access to information by developing scalable educational resources, thorough documentation, and self-service platforms.
- Assess the impact of learning initiatives through data and participant feedback to drive ongoing improvement.
- Serve as the principal steward for learning and development efforts, balancing strategic vision and day-to-day execution.
Candidate Qualifications
- 6 to 10 years of experience in consulting (particularly in learning, change management, or organizational effectiveness), learning and development, talent development, or related domains.
- A proven track record in establishing and scaling learning programs, beyond merely delivering existing content.
- Exceptional presentation and facilitation capabilities, adept at engaging diverse audiences effectively.
- Strong program management aptitude with the ability to independently oversee multiple projects from conception through implementation.
- Experience in crafting practical and captivating learning experiences tailored for adult learners.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability to ambiguous, fast-evolving environments where many programs require ground-up development.
- Intellectually curious, collaborative, practical, and highly focused on execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in startup or fast-growing technology companies.
- Experience supporting technical teams or organizations.
Compensation and Benefits
The total compensation ranges from $155,000 to $200,000 annually, accompanied by equity and comprehensive benefits.
