Role Overview
The Store Incharge role, based in Eranad, Kerala, is a full-time, on-site position tasked with managing the daily functions of the store. Responsibilities include overseeing inventory levels, processing orders efficiently, and ensuring products are attractively displayed while maintaining hygiene standards. The Store Incharge supervises staff performance, delegates tasks appropriately, and supports team members to guarantee seamless operations and a safe environment. Monitoring sales metrics, controlling shrinkage, and applying retail loss prevention strategies are vital components of this role, alongside enforcing company policies and procedures. Delivering outstanding customer service and swiftly addressing any issues to maintain high customer satisfaction levels is paramount.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven ability in customer service with strong skills in addressing queries and resolving customer concerns effectively.
- Experience in store management, including handling inventory, coordinating staff, and managing day-to-day operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers, team members, and supervisors.
- Awareness of retail loss prevention methods to reduce shrinkage and maintain security and compliance standards.
- Relevant background in retail, supermarket, or warehouse settings, preferably with supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Basic numerical aptitude and proficiency with computer systems for reporting, stock management, and store operations.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and busy periods, along with the physical stamina to remain active throughout shifts.
- A minimum education level of high school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in retail management or business are advantageous.
