Position Overview
Join Walmart Canada as a Stock Unloader Associate and gain valuable hands-on experience within a fast-moving retail environment. You will play an essential role in ensuring store operations run smoothly by unloading deliveries, processing incoming merchandise, and moving stock pallets to the sales area, all while upholding workplace safety and cleanliness. Your role contributes directly to a positive shopping experience and supports the store's overall success, making it ideal for individuals pursuing active roles in retail or customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the receiving area and unload merchandise from general trailers, including live unloading tasks.
- Handle refrigerable items according to cold chain standards and transport pallets to the store floor for overnight processing.
- Assist with on-floor stocking duties as assigned, supporting customers as needed to enhance their shopping experience.
- Organize and label overstock inventory in specified locations to maintain effective inventory management.
- Adhere to company safety policies, complete safety inspections, and ensure fixtures and displays remain secure and hazard-free.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.
Work Environment and Challenges
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced setting with a heavy task load, especially during overnight shifts, while managing energy and focus.
- Perform physical work involving prolonged standing, bending, and lifting products up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Carry out repetitive stock organization tasks consistently and with attention to detail to maintain store standards.

Compensation
The starting wage for this position is $15.50 per hour.
