About the Role
The ChangeMaker position under the UNXT program aims to empower final-year students across designated districts and nearby colleges by delivering structured spoken English and employability skill training. The trainer will guide youth to become job-ready through a blend of training, assessments, and placement assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a total of 90 hours of training, structured as either 3 hours daily for 30 days or 2 hours daily for 45 days, strictly adhering to the specified curriculum.
- Support and mentor students to ensure their successful completion of the program.
- Source and onboard colleges within the allocated area and coordinate with their authorities to facilitate smooth program execution and timely batch completion.
- Organize valedictory ceremonies involving relevant stakeholders.
- Manage complete student enrollment in designated platforms and accurately maintain student records including education background, job preferences, and relocation willingness.
- Track and update continuous student progress, encouraging participation in LMS and self-learning platforms.
- Ensure students complete assessments and obtain certifications, monitoring and enhancing their learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with placement teams to create employment opportunities, assist campus recruitment drives and job fairs, and work to meet placement goals.
- Motivate active student engagement in training, activities, and use of learning applications and social media for career advancement.
- Foster confidence, communication skills, and workplace readiness among students.
- Engage alumni by onboarding them to dedicated platforms, maintaining communication, and offering career guidance and job support.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation including attendance, assessments, certifications, reports, and ensure compliance with batch closure protocols.
- Develop and uphold professional relationships with both colleges and students, representing the organization positively at all times.
Eligibility and Skills
- Applicants must hold a graduate degree in any discipline.
- Open to fresh graduates as well as experienced professionals.
- Proficient English communication skills are essential.
- Strong training and facilitation capabilities.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy including familiarity with MS Office, common applications, and social media tools.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel locally within assigned areas.
- Mandatory training session in Bangalore with provided travel, accommodation, and stipend.
