Software Engineer, Frontend (React, NextJS) - All Genders

About the Role

Join our engineering team based in Berlin, working in a hybrid setting to craft the future of scheduling and team collaboration. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you'll be an integral part of building our core user-facing web applications, aiming for speed, scalability, and resilient performance. The platform is a widely used B2B SaaS that tackles complex problems where human interaction meets digital efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of frontend systems utilizing React.js and Next.js.
• Integrate advanced APIs and efficiently manage client-side data flow using GraphQL and Apollo Client.
• Focus on optimizing application speed and responsiveness across various devices and platforms.
• Leverage large language models (LLM) and agentic tooling to accelerate development without sacrificing code ownership.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to convert intricate scheduling logic into intuitive and functional user interfaces.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
• Strong professional background with JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js frameworks.
• Proven experience with client-side data management, especially using GraphQL and Apollo Client in production.
• Hands-on expertise in frontend performance tuning, responsive design principles, and modern browser APIs.

Preferred but Not Required

• Experience incorporating AI-assisted development tools to enhance engineering productivity.
• Deep understanding of architectural principles such as component isolation, server-side rendering (SSR), and static site generation (SSG).
• Ability to work effectively with product owners, UX designers, and backend developers.
• Applicants must be based in Germany with unrestricted work rights; visa sponsorship or relocation support is not available.
