About the role

Hegen is looking for a motivated Social Commerce Executive to help strengthen engagement and drive conversions across its social commerce platforms. This position blends live selling, commercial delivery, and continuous optimisation to support the company’s expanding eCommerce business.

Responsibilities

The role covers livestream execution, planning, performance review, and broader eCommerce support.

  • Lead livestreams on TikTok, Shopee, and similar platforms around four times each week, including evenings and weekends when needed.
  • Use product demonstrations, storytelling, and real-time interaction to convert viewers into buyers.
  • Explain product features, benefits, and promotions in a polished, engaging, and easy-to-understand way.
  • Respond to viewer questions, recommend products, and run interactive live sessions that build trust and encourage purchases.
  • Keep up with social commerce trends, livestream formats, and platform best practices to improve content quality.
  • Create and manage a social commerce schedule that supports campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
  • Work closely with eCommerce, Marketing, and Trade teams to align on campaign goals, highlighted products, offers, and stock availability.
  • Handle livestream backend tasks such as product tagging, pricing checks, vouchers, bundles, and platform setup.
  • Make sure scripts, assets, and operational details are accurate and ready before each session.
  • Track livestream results using metrics such as revenue, conversion, engagement, traffic, and viewership.
  • Review campaign and livestream data to spot issues, identify opportunities, and guide improvements.
  • Refine presentation style, content focus, and overall strategy to improve performance and commercial results.
  • Support daily eCommerce operations and marketplace execution when required.
  • Help coordinate marketplace campaigns, promotional activity, and online merchandising efforts.
  • Contribute to the broader growth of Hegen’s online sales channels beyond livestreaming.

Requirements

  • A Diploma or Degree in Communications, Media, Business, Retail, eCommerce, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in eCommerce, retail sales, customer engagement, or a similar commercial role; prior livestreaming experience is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent verbal communication and storytelling ability, with confidence in presenting products persuasively and naturally.
  • Hands-on familiarity with TikTok Shop, Shopee Live, or other social commerce and livestream platforms.
  • Solid understanding of online buyer behaviour, conversion drivers, and customer engagement techniques.
