Duty Engineer

The hotel is hiring a Shift Duty Engineer to join its engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and oversee engineering technicians during the shift.
• Make sure all equipment is operating properly and without interruption.
• Respond to urgent maintenance needs and decide priorities for emergency work.
• Assist with engineering projects by helping plan, supervise, and carry them out.
• Contribute to audit preparation and training initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong interest in engineering work.
• Prior exposure to electrical engineering and gas welding is preferred.
• Open to new responsibilities and challenges.
• Comfortable working rotating or assigned shifts.
• Previous experience as a Duty Engineer or in a similar hotel engineering role.
• Diploma or certificate in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Marine Engineering.
• Relevant background in building maintenance.
• Self-driven and able to motivate others.
