SHE Administrator

Role Overview

This entry-level opportunity is ideal for an organized administrator eager to build a career in Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE). Located in Melbourne, the SHE Administrator will provide essential administrative support within the SHE team at Rentokil Initial, a leading provider in pest control, hygiene, and indoor plants care across Australia.

Responsibilities

• Examine reported incidents for accuracy and take required follow-up actions.
• Update and maintain SHE-related policies, procedural guides, and standardized documents.
• Create instructional materials for SHE training sessions.
• Work with stakeholders to prepare and revise Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) ensuring compliance with legal standards.
• Handle daily email communications and manage the SHE inbox effectively.
• Conduct data analysis and generate routine compliance reports to monitor SHE performance.
• Develop professional presentations tailored for various groups of stakeholders.
• Organize and upload official documents on the corporate intranet platform.
• Provide general administrative assistance as needed, including support for special projects.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience of 1 to 2 years in a related administrative or support role is preferable.
• Certification or qualification in SHE fields is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Capability to work independently with strong prioritization and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, and Google Workspace tools such as Gmail, Slides, and Drive.
• Successful clearance of pre-employment medical evaluation, drug and alcohol screening, and background checks.
