SharePoint Online Developer

Overview

AceNet is looking for an experienced SharePoint Online Developer based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will possess extensive expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint Online solutions along with custom business applications, automated workflows, and integrations within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SharePoint Online solutions tailored to business needs.
• Create custom applications with Microsoft Power Apps, including both Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.
• Automate business workflows utilizing Power Automate.
• Customize SharePoint sites, including their lists, libraries, forms, and permissions.
• Design and implement responsive Power Apps forms integrated with SharePoint Online.
• Integrate SharePoint Online platforms with Microsoft 365 applications and third-party systems as required.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate implementations.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to capture requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.
• Ensure all developments comply with Microsoft's recommended best practices, governance, security, and regulatory standards.
• Document technical processes and provide ongoing support for deployed solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint Online Development.
• Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience customizing SharePoint Online site collections, lists, libraries, content types, and permissions management.
• Preferred proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, Microsoft Graph API, and SharePoint APIs.
• Understanding of governance, security, and licensing considerations within the Power Platform.
• Comprehensive insight into Microsoft 365 services and ecosystem integration.
• Experience managing version control and following deployment best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with effective communication and stakeholder engagement ability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related disciplines.
• Microsoft certifications for SharePoint or Power Platform considered advantageous.
• Additional useful skills include Power BI, Microsoft Teams integration, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Microsoft Graph API, and REST API integration.
