Job Overview

Culligan Ireland is seeking a committed Service Technician to join our team, operating primarily in Sligo and various other locations including Galway, Kilkenny, Athlone, Wicklow, and Dublin. As a crucial team member, you will install, maintain, and repair residential water treatment systems such as filtration units, water softeners, and reverse osmosis systems, ensuring customers experience cleaner and safer water.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and service water treatment solutions including filtration, softening, and purification equipment.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and inspections to detect and address system faults.
• Deliver technical assistance and maintenance guidance to clients for efficient system operation.
• Adhere strictly to all safety standards and internal protocols.
• Keep detailed logs of all service tasks and materials utilized.
• Coordinate with colleagues to schedule and manage installation and repair services effectively.
• Continuously update technical knowledge and skills in line with industry progress.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience as a plumber or engineer, ideally with exposure to water treatment technologies.
• Possession of a valid plumbing and/or engineering certification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Familiarity with water treatment systems is preferred, though training will be provided.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Capable of working autonomously with high efficiency.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Must hold a valid driving license.

Employment Details and Benefits

• Permanent full-time role with a 6-month probation period.
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
• Annual salary of €40,000, distributed monthly, plus a €4,000 annual tax-free meal allowance.
