Overview
ZENSHO Singapore is hiring service crew members for Katsu-an at Suntec City, with the role expected to open around August 2023. This is a restaurant operations position suited to candidates who can deliver friendly service, support basic kitchen work, and keep to hygiene and safety standards.
Employment details
Full-time staff can earn up to SGD 2,600 per month on a 5-day work week. Part-time candidates are welcome for commitments of 3 months or more, with pay of up to SGD 14 per hour. Public holidays are paid at 2 times the hourly rate, which works out to SGD 28 per hour. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the basic hourly rate. The role is based onsite in Central Singapore.
Who can apply
No prior work experience is required, as training will be provided. Housewives and students are encouraged to apply. Only Singaporeans may apply for this position.
Service duties
- Handle everyday front-of-house tasks such as taking orders, operating the cashier, recording daily sales, serving food and beverages, and answering reservation phone calls.
- Deliver consistently good service and respond appropriately to customer feedback.
- Keep a professional appearance, hygiene, and conduct at all times.
- Follow company SOPs and maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the work area.
- Support food and beverage preparation when needed.
- Complete opening and closing routines.
- Carry out other tasks assigned by supervisors.
Kitchen duties
- Prepare and cook food promptly in line with the required SOPs.
- Maintain food safety, quality, and hygiene standards throughout operations.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and safe.
- Clean preparation areas and kitchen tools, and assist with other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Strong guest focus and a service-oriented mindset.
- Able to cope in a busy, fast-moving environment.
- Responsible, dependable, and positive in attitude.
- Willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic spoken English is needed for communication.
