Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Service Advisor who excels at fostering strong customer relationships and thrives in a dynamic environment. This role serves as the primary customer contact for the service department, aiming to surpass customer expectations while balancing commercial objectives. Responsibilities include accurate diagnosis of vehicle faults, managing invoicing, and identifying opportunities to enhance service center profitability through upselling.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather detailed vehicle history and fault information, provide customers with accurate time and cost estimates, clarify completed work post-service, and address any complaints or concerns.
- Verify invoice details for accuracy and explain any additional charges or warranty terms to customers.
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding required additional repairs, and outline safety implications, cost, and time considerations.
- Identify customers' ongoing vehicle needs to support sales and service growth.
- Promote additional services and products to enhance service center revenue.
- Efficiently plan and schedule jobs to maximize workshop usage, offering extra services during lower capacity periods.
- Manage job cards, coordinating with workshop team leaders to ensure precise information and special requirements are addressed.
- Maintain an up-to-date customer database to facilitate product recalls and marketing initiatives.
- Adhere to all legal, regulatory, and manufacturer guidelines concerning customer service.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and product knowledge updates.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and annual performance appraisals, contributing ideas for operational improvements and cost efficiencies.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- Previous automotive experience in the UAE or Middle East region is required.
- Documented success in achieving sales or service targets.
- Certification as a Service Advisor is highly preferred.
