Role Summary
We invite experienced DevOps professionals to join a remote contract focused on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development and AI training. This project offers a flexible work setup, engaging senior engineers to create realistic infrastructure scenarios and solutions for AI learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop natural language prompts mimicking real engineering tickets with nuanced ambiguity and professional context for AI comprehension.
- Configure and maintain LocalStack environments to simulate AWS cloud infrastructures locally for testing and validation.
- Design initial infrastructure configurations and produce definitive 'golden solutions' that successfully pass automated end-to-end tests.
- Maintain rigorous quality standards by ensuring tasks are well-constructed and suitably complex to avoid rejection.
- Assess AI-generated responses to infrastructure queries, selecting the accurate answer.
- Create straightforward prompts to serve as foundational inputs for AI model training.
Qualifications and Expertise
- Senior-level experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering fields.
- Advanced practical knowledge of at least one IaC platform, notably AWS CDK, Terraform (HCL), or CloudFormation. Experience with Pulumi, AzureRM, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet is considered a plus.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Excellent written communication skills in English with the ability to clearly explain complicated technical matters and adhere to strict stylistic protocols.
Working Conditions and Benefits
