Senior Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager in Civil Infrastructure to join our Dublin office. This pivotal position requires predominantly onsite presence with four days per week on location and the flexibility to work remotely one day per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight across all stages of major civil infrastructure projects, including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out.
• Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams, including mentoring Project Managers and ensuring alignment with project goals and standards.
• Oversee project delivery concerning schedule, interfaces, cost control, contract variations, and risk management in coordination with all relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain and update the Project Execution Plan ensuring compliance with contractual standards and strategic objectives.
• Manage stakeholder relationships including the Airport Transformation Manager and other key contacts within the programme.
• Ensure all projects meet agreed benchmarks in quality, safety, and governance.
• Facilitate design review meetings, communications, and change management processes, ensuring smooth execution and approvals.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on project performance, risks, milestones, and construction activity.
• Implement and enhance project management processes, governance frameworks (including RACI matrix), and performance controls.
• Champion continuous improvement efforts in project methodologies and tools.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience managing large-scale civil infrastructure projects through all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Minimum of 7 years in construction and infrastructure sectors, with demonstrable success in aviation or similarly complex live operational environments.
• Proven expertise with the NEC Suite of Contracts from client, contractor, or consultancy perspectives.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Experience delivering capital projects safely on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
• Technical knowledge of project and contract management frameworks, governance, and risk mitigation approaches.
• Hands-on experience in site management and infrastructure project execution.
• Excellent communication and team management capabilities, including resource planning and performance monitoring.
