- Convert insights into targeted value propositions, segmentation strategies, buyer journeys, messaging frameworks, sales enablement tools, and go-to-market plans.
- Create actionable intelligence on customers, market dynamics, competitors, and cultural trends to guide marketing strategy, product launches, thought leadership, client interaction, and business planning.
- Relate insights to measurable growth, marketing impact, and commercial results throughout Asia Pacific.
- Produce executive-level presentations, thought leadership publications, client-facing insights, industry viewpoints, and strategic narratives addressing themes like affluent consumers, travel, next-generation consumers, future commerce, and evolving societal and technological trends.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Commercial Solutions, Cross-Border, Communications, regional teams, and global stakeholders to integrate insights into planning, campaigns, customer engagement, thought leadership, and growth initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor driving consensus and action through insight-driven recommendations.
- Lead comprehensive research projects employing quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methodologies from design through execution, ensuring methodological integrity, vendor oversight, high-quality outputs, and actionable findings.
- Promote best practices in insight generation, synthesis, and implementation regionally.
- Utilize AI-supported research instruments, synthesis platforms, knowledge management systems, and automation to enhance insight quality, speed, and scalability.
- Develop repeatable insight products, frameworks, and enablement tools to magnify organizational influence across Asia Pacific.
Qualifications
- Over 12 years of experience in areas such as insights, thought leadership, strategy, consulting, market research, or marketing strategy.
- Demonstrated expertise supporting B2B Marketing objectives including customer segmentation, buyer persona creation, account-based marketing, demand generation, customer lifecycle management, sales support, or market entry strategy.
- Experience conducting research with businesses, merchants, SMEs, financial institutions, treasury teams, procurement leaders, finance decision-makers, or payment ecosystem partners.
- Skilled in shaping product commercialization, go-to-market execution, marketing plans, and growth strategies through customer and market data.
- Proven capability to craft thought leadership content, industry insights, and customer understanding for both business and consumer markets.
- Excellent at storytelling and synthesizing complex information into clear and persuasive business advice.
- Experienced in creating executive presentations, client-oriented thought leadership, and strategic stories.
- Familiar with using AI-powered tools to speed research, synthesis, reporting, and knowledge management.
- Highly skilled in stakeholder engagement and influencing, including senior executives, clients, partners, agencies, and functional teams.
- Strong project management aptitude with the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a complex matrix environment.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Experience in the Asia Pacific markets and/or sectors like payments, financial services, digital commerce, technology, travel, luxury goods, or consumer industries is beneficial.
