Role Overview
The Senior Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in increasing company revenue and expanding sales presence by identifying, engaging, and securing potential clients within a specified region.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business leads by employing approaches such as prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, and organizing and leading sales presentations.
- Forge meaningful relationships between the company’s value proposition and senior IT executives within the designated territory via impactful cold outreach.
- Consistently meet and strive to exceed set performance targets and sales objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Between five to seven or more years of frontline sales experience, preferably within a dynamic B2B sales environment, with a history of successfully hitting sales targets.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and adaptability to continuously learn about products and customers, applying this knowledge to effectively communicate the company’s value.
- Excellent communication and sales abilities to convey messages effectively to internal teams and senior-level clients throughout the sales process.
- Proficient active listening skills to understand clients fully and respond appropriately.
- Effective organizational and time management skills to handle multiple complex sales activities with prioritization and discipline.
- Demonstrated persistence and resilience to navigate challenges, setbacks, and objections in the sales cycle by applying creative, solution-oriented approaches.
- Business acumen with an understanding of information technology and market dynamics to engage clients effectively.
- Highly self-motivated with good self-awareness of personal strengths and developmental areas.
- Experience in advisory, information, or business service sectors is advantageous.

Work Schedule
This role operates on a hybrid model requiring four days per week onsite at the Sydney office and one day working remotely.
