About the Company

DD Cotton is a prominent merchant trader and exporter specializing in agricultural commodities. Established in 1907, the company has expanded over the years and maintains procurement offices throughout India, delivering products globally.

Job Location and Work Schedule

This role is based in Nariman Point, Churchgate, Mumbai. Working hours are from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with every 2nd and 4th Saturday off.

Compensation

The offered salary package is up to INR 5,50,000 annually.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting entries related to purchases, sales, expenses, and income.
• Manage bank reconciliations and handle online banking transactions.
• Ensure compliance with GST and TDS regulations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations.
• Generate and analyze Management Information System (MIS) reports.
• Assist in the year-end financial finalization process with the Chartered Accountant (CA).

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree or equivalent qualification.
• Have more than 7 years of proven experience in accounts and taxation.
• Proficient in using Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel, particularly VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Demonstrate expertise in GST, TDS, and accounting control procedures.
• Experience with CA firms or advanced taxation knowledge is a valuable plus.
• Prior work in multi-state trading organizations is preferred.
