Security & Loss Prevention Officer

Role summary

DropX Logistics is a technology-led logistics business focused on fast, reliable movement of goods across the supply chain, from first mile through last mile. It is hiring a Security & Loss Prevention Officer to safeguard operational standards, reduce losses, maintain compliance, and oversee process discipline across several delivery stations in Andhra Pradesh.

This position is based in Andhra Pradesh and involves regular travel to multiple DropX stations across the Andhra Pradesh and East regions.

Non-negotiable experience requirement

Only candidates with direct experience in Amazon last-mile operations or security and loss prevention will be considered. Acceptable backgrounds include Amazon AMZL operations, Amazon EDSP partner operations, or Amazon SLP / loss prevention roles. Applications without this specific Amazon last-mile or SLP exposure will not be reviewed.

What the role involves

The officer will work across delivery hubs to identify discrepancies, strengthen controls, investigate issues, train teams, and keep station operations aligned with client and internal requirements.

• Carry out routine checks at delivery hubs to spot differences in shipment movement, cash handling, and process execution.
• Detect and help prevent loss, fraud, shipment mishandling, and breaches of operational rules.
• Make sure daily station activities follow Amazon and other client last-mile standards.
• Look into matters involving delivery associates, station staff, cash management, and shipment flow.
• Train hub teams and delivery associates on compliance, risk reduction, and correct process usage.
• Work with internal stakeholders and clients on updates, expectations, and compliance needs.
• Pinpoint risk-prone areas and put corrective actions in place to improve controls.
• Compile audit findings and monitor closure of open gaps.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in Amazon last-mile logistics, a solid grasp of delivery station workflows and operational controls, and practical exposure to audits, fraud detection, investigations, and loss prevention. Strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and effective communication in English, Telugu, and Hindi are needed. Readiness to travel frequently across multiple locations is also essential. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
