Secondary Science Teacher (Physics, Earth and Space Science, Horticulture)

Position Overview

OneSchool Global's Tauranga Campus is seeking a dedicated full-time permanent science teacher, ideally with expertise in physics, earth and space science, and/or horticulture, to commence in Term 3 or as soon as possible. This role involves delivering engaging science education to students both face-to-face and through Zoom across multiple campuses nationwide.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver stimulating science lessons that capture students' interest and imagination.
• Lead hands-on experimental activities to enhance practical learning.
• Provide constructive feedback to support and improve student understanding and performance.
• Stay current with the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA standards to effectively prepare students for assessments.

Applicant Requirements

• Experience working within New Zealand's educational system is mandatory.
• Preferably possess prior experience teaching within the NCEA framework.
