Role Overview
We are seeking a Scrum Master to oversee programs centered on low-latency data processing, fusion, and tracking algorithms used in remote sensing systems located in Boulder, CO. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in remote sensing system design, software development, and data analytics, coupled with proven leadership and project management experience. This role involves guiding and managing all Scrum activities for two engineering teams developing products for the U.S. government.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project scope and timelines.
- Organize sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-up meetings.
- Mentor team members on Agile methodologies.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within teams.
- Collaborate with customers and product owners to manage backlogs and new requests.
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles impeding progress.
- Support teams in implementing procedural changes efficiently.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at sprint completion.
- Lead development teams toward enhanced Scrum maturity.
- Create a motivating environment where team members take ownership and enjoy their work.
- Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure success.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in STEM or Business disciplines.
- Scrum Master Certification with experience in Agile principles.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with U.S. Government or related industry contracts.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience managing software product teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to foster teamwork and trust among both internal and external customers.
- Proficient in developing and maintaining professional customer relationships.
- Adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and multiple concurrent tasks.
- Eligible to obtain a Department of Defense SECRET security clearance.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
Preferred Attributes
- Active DoD Final SECRET clearance or higher.
- Advanced academic degree.
- Experience in systems engineering.

Compensation Details
Salary range for this position is $133,000 to $157,000 annually. Offers consider role responsibilities, candidate's experience, education, and skills but compensation is not guaranteed at this range.
