Scan Coordinator

Overview

This role is suited to someone who enjoys detail-focused work and likes learning about new products. As a Scan Coordinator with Sprouts Farmers Market, you’ll help maintain accurate pricing across the store and support a shopping experience that encourages customers to make healthier choices.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out price updates on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, including shelf labels, product tags, and promotional signage.
• Check weekly ad pricing, promotion accuracy, and signage consistency across all departments.
• Help ensure the store follows company policies and all applicable government compliance requirements.
• Work with speed and precision to protect pricing integrity throughout the store.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1–3 months of related experience or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities are needed to review scanning programs, maintain reports and schedules, and understand basic billing and accounting processes.
• Good math skills and practical experience with Microsoft Office are required.
• A friendly, outgoing attitude and the ability to interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and vendors are important.
• Availability to work different hours and days based on business needs is required.
• You must be able to read and create price tags and signs, use a stapler, scan items, operate a computer to activate new pricing, and use a step ladder.
• Physical requirements include lifting and moving boxes up to 17 lbs. vertically or horizontally from 1 inch to 34 inches over a distance of up to 8 feet for as long as 1 hour, walking up to 4 miles during an 8-hour shift, and repeated crouching, kneeling, and squatting to access items 6 inches from the floor for up to 50 hours.
