The organisation is hiring an SAP SuccessFactors Developer for its Kochi office, with hybrid work arrangements available. This role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, growing environment with a strong team culture.
Key responsibilities
You will turn business needs into technical specifications and practical configuration approaches, while also designing, testing, and maintaining SAP SuccessFactors rules, mappings, and data structures. The role involves supporting module enhancements, building reports, validating data quality, and working closely with HR and other stakeholders to keep systems running smoothly.
Role expectations
- Convert business requirements into technical documentation and configuration design.
- Build, test, and maintain SuccessFactors business rules for validations, derivations, defaults, and workflows.
- Set up and manage mapping logic for automated field population using reference tables and related data values.
- Adjust data models, MDF objects, picklists, fields, and permission settings to match HR process requirements.
- Create advanced reports, including table, story, and canvas formats.
- Support the rollout of new SuccessFactors modules and improvements across areas such as Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Work Schedules/Time-off, Performance & Goals, Talent Intelligence Hub, and Compensation.
- Carry out data checks, identify inconsistencies, and coordinate with HR to improve data accuracy.
- Maintain clear technical documentation for both new and existing SuccessFactors configurations.
- Take part in test planning, test execution, defect handling, integration testing, UAT, deployment support, and release activities.
- Provide first- and second-line support to HR, managers, and employees, including issue investigation, resolution, and system usage guidance.
- Act as a technical point of contact for stakeholders using other business applications.
Requirements
- You should be a graduate with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors configuration and support, preferably with strong exposure to Employee Central and related modules.
- Prior experience working as a SuccessFactors developer or administrator at a senior level is expected.
- You need a strong understanding of SuccessFactors data models, MDF objects, picklists, and permission structures.
- Good knowledge of HR processes such as employee lifecycle, organisational management, time, and compensation is important.
- Experience with SuccessFactors backend logic, including business rules and data migration, is required.
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting ability are essential for identifying root causes and building durable solutions.
- You should be comfortable working with numbers, Excel formulas, and logical relationships.
- The role calls for a high level of independence, confidence in decision-making, efficiency, and good organisational skills.
