You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including business subject matter experts, architects, developers, and vendor consultants, to design and enhance SAP systems ensuring seamless integration. The role requires strong functional expertise in SAP P2P, problem-solving abilities, and delivery of high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities

- Identify and apply complex configuration solutions including full lifecycle configurations and associated documentation.
- Craft and maintain functional and application design documents in partnership with stakeholders and system integrators.
- Convert functional specifications into application design documents, coordinate development efforts, develop and execute test plans and scripts including unit and integration tests.

- Participate in project delivery, particularly testing cycles; lead root cause analyses and problem resolution.
- Utilize SAP Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM tools effectively.
- Oversee and guide the development of WRICEF objects alongside developers.
- Contribute to project management activities following SAP Activate methodology, and promote Deloitte’s proprietary tools and best practices.
- Support business development through inputs on Requests for Proposals and client demonstrations.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements
- 12 to 16 years of experience working in SAP environments focused on asset-intensive and manufacturing sectors, with 8+ years dedicated to SAP Procurement, preferably with recent exposure to S/4HANA and Fiori implementations.
- Completion of at least 4–5 SAP Procurement implementation projects including two or more full lifecycle deliveries.
- In-depth expertise in Indirect and Direct Procurement, Inter-company purchasing, stock transfer orders, and invoice processing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Materials Management and Purchasing processes, basic knowledge of SAP Ariba, Production Planning, Plant Maintenance, Sales & Distribution, Warehouse Management (including Extended Warehouse Management), and Transportation Management.
- Hands-on design and configuration experience in Procurement Master Data, Business Partner, Sourcing, Pricing, Inventory and Physical Inventory management, Release and Version Management, Valuation and account assignment, Invoice Verification, and related Fiori applications.
- Experience integrating SAP with external (supplier collaboration, invoicing) and internal legacy systems.
- Thorough understanding of Supply Chain business models and SAP Procure to Pay processes complemented by Fiori UI knowledge.
- Knowledge of purchasing integration with other SAP modules.
- SAP Materials Management or S/4HANA certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Agile/SAFe development methodologies.
- Proficiency with SAP testing tools and other SAP line-of-business products.
- Experience in managing SAP MM user exits, batch jobs, and standard reporting.
- Comprehension of Clean Core principles minimizing custom code and leveraging standard SAP best practices.
- Exposure to cloud-based SAP solutions with understanding of SAP’s cloud adoption roadmap.
- Capability to work with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for system extensions and integrations.
- Awareness of SAP security, data privacy, and compliance standards.
