Role overview
Zabota is a four-year-old headhunting business that connects top-tier remote professionals with rapidly growing companies in the US, including telehealth, agency, and DTC ecommerce brands. The company is now bringing on its first dedicated Sales Development Representative to focus on starting conversations with founders and setting up qualified meetings.
What you'll do
- Send 20 to 25 tailored LinkedIn connection requests and follow up with replies each morning using your own profile, without automation.
- Make 100 to 140 outbound calls per day using a power dialer, beginning with warmer prospects who have already been contacted through LinkedIn or email, then moving to fresh cold leads.
- Use voicemail and SMS combinations designed to improve callback rates.
- Allow the dialer to sync activity automatically into HubSpot so administrative work stays minimal.
What we're looking for
- A proven record in outbound sales, whether through door-to-door work, telesales for US or UK clients, or at least 6 months of B2B SDR calling experience.
- Previous calling exposure to US-based decision-makers is preferred and will carry significant weight.
- The ability to engage a distracted CEO quickly and keep them on the line within the first 30 seconds.
- Strong English communication skills, including the ability to shift naturally between a formal approach with executives and a more direct, friendly style with founders.
- Clear written communication for email replies that sound polished on the first read.
Working hours
The schedule runs from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM SAST, Monday through Friday, which aligns with 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET for the target market.
Compensation
All pay is listed in USD. The role includes a base salary of $2,000 per month, plus $75 for every qualified meeting that actually takes place, and an additional $150 whenever a meeting you booked converts into a client.
Additional information
The compensation structure is designed so earnings are visible daily, and every held meeting pays out the same day. The qualification standard for meetings is documented in writing, so the criteria are always clear.
