Sales Associate

Position Objective

This role involves representing the brand effectively by driving sales and delivering outstanding customer service within the store.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Welcome customers and provide assistance in selecting appropriate products.
• Convert casual window shoppers into paying customers.
• Promote the company's Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat purchases.
• Adhere to the company's sales protocol of GUEST: Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, and Thank customers.
• Stay knowledgeable about the various brands under the group to offer informed suggestions.
• Maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance at all times.
• Be willing to work extended hours during sales periods.
• Keep up-to-date with product information and ensure minimal inventory losses.

Merchandise and Operations

• Arrange stock and merchandise displays according to standard layout guidelines to attract customers.
• Comply with all visual merchandising standards and clearance stock policies.
• Manage inventory records related to stock movements diligently.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and billing efficiently.
• Balance cash registers at the start and close of shifts.
• Accurately process customer payments, refunds, and issue changes.
• Handle transactions via cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debit cards.
• Maintain heightened awareness of store security at all times without negligence.
• Be flexible to work various shifts and overtime as business needs dictate.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Loss Prevention policies strictly.
• Keep all sales figures confidential and not disclose them externally.
