Saudi Aramco is recruiting a Safety Advisor to strengthen their Loss Prevention (LP) team, a vital part of the organization designed to enforce occupational and process safety standards across their global oil and gas infrastructure. The role involves being highly visible on-site, promoting and ensuring operational safety compliance through daily support and inspection activities at various Aramco facilities in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular field inspections and thorough safety assessments to verify adherence to company and international safety standards.
• Identify and address immediate hazards with practical and cost-efficient solutions, ensuring follow-up on corrective actions.
• Oversee high-risk safety areas such as working at heights, Lockout/Tagout operations, Permit to Work systems, hydrogen sulfide zone management, and excavation safety.
• Engage in contractor safety audits and prequalification processes and monitor their safety performance on-site.
• Participate in detailed process safety evaluations including HAZOP studies, Process Hazard Analyses, and Job Safety Analyses.
• Provide comprehensive Loss Prevention training sessions for employees, contractors, and third-party personnel.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents, both during and beyond regular shifts, providing expert technical guidance.
• Manage incident classification and reporting to determine root causes and support corrective initiatives preventing recurrence.

Candidate Qualifications and Pathways

Applicants may qualify through one of two routes:

• Degree Holder Pathway: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution plus at least 7 years of relevant experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or heavy industries.
• Experienced Professional Pathway: Minimum 15 years of substantial field experience in relevant sectors such as oil and gas, refining, or plant engineering demonstrating proven safety outcomes.

Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written, are necessary for preparing comprehensive technical reports for management review.

Work Environment, Compensation, and Locations

• Competitive monthly salary ranging from SAR 18,000 to SAR 28,000, varying with site location, allowances, and experience levels.
