Role Overview

The role of Revenue Officer is offered as a remote position responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's revenue streams, alongside ensuring precise financial reporting. Daily duties encompass monitoring income across diverse sources, compiling revenue reports, performing account reconciliations, and supporting billing and collection activities. The officer collaborates closely with finance and accounting staff to guarantee compliance with tax laws and regulations, identify opportunities to boost revenue performance, and assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting. Analytical evaluation of financial data, identifying variances, and recommending corrective measures are key aspects of this position, all aimed at maintaining a solid financial footing for the company.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in Finance and Financial Analysis to manage revenue streams, interpret data, and aid in forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Competent in Accounting practices including reconciliations, revenue recognition, and producing accurate financial reports.
• Knowledgeable in Taxation and relevant tax laws to ensure full compliance with Ghanaian regulations and assist in tax planning and documentation.
• Experienced with spreadsheet applications and financial software, and capable of working efficiently in a remote, technology-driven setting.
• Strong analytical thinking, organizational aptitude, and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a capacity for effective collaboration across teams.
• Possession of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline; professional certifications such as ACCA, ICA, or CPA are advantageous.
• Previous experience in revenue management, financial reporting, or related financial roles is preferable.
