Job description
Position Overview
We are actively recruiting a Relief Pharmacist for permanent full-time engagement supporting multiple stores in the Finglas region, including Clearwater, Fingal, Finglas, and Finglas West. This role offers valuable exposure to the variety of brands operated by Uniphar.
Our relief pharmacist roster is organized to create a consistent rotation, allowing you to build familiarity with the staff and customer base at each location. Roster schedules are provided 6 to 8 weeks ahead of time.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Supervising Pharmacist in upholding operational standards and executing corporate initiatives
- Collaborate with pharmacy teams to deliver appropriate care solutions for customers and patients
- Contribute to the professional, clinical, ethical, and financial management of the pharmacy compliant with industry standards and company policies
- Assist in organizing and participating in group healthcare and corporate marketing events
- Maintain communication regarding business performance and new initiatives within the team
- Engage in staff training activities and promote team development
- Report on store operations and employee performance to the Pharmacist Regional Manager
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Registered member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
- Experience working in Irish community pharmacies is advantageous; however, comprehensive training is provided for candidates from other backgrounds
- Demonstrated experience in managing people
- Proactive, motivated, with strong interpersonal skills, confidence, and solid clinical knowledge
- Excellent communication abilities combined with a keen understanding of customer needs and commercial awareness
- A strong commitment to patient care through excellent face-to-face interactions
Minimum education
Bachelor's Degree
