Job description
Overview
This role involves managing recycled paper products within a physical warehouse and manufacturing setting. The work is onsite at the Kentville, Nova Scotia location, with no remote work options. The environment is dynamic and requires physical effort, including working in dusty, hot, cold, and noisy conditions.
Responsibilities
- Manually load, unload, and transport products and materials using basic material handling tools or equipment.
- Operate various types of machinery to assist with moving goods efficiently.
- Organize items by sorting, crating, and stacking them appropriately.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced, repetitive task environment with pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Maintain manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
- Perform physical activities such as bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for long durations.
- Handle weights up to 23 kilograms (50 pounds).
- Ability to distinguish colors is necessary.
- Wear steel-toed safety boots as personal equipment.
