About the Company
Bulten Group recently expanded by acquiring Exim & Mfr Holdings Pte Ltd, a reputable Singapore-based fasteners and C-parts distributor established in 1982. Exim supplies quality-assured fasteners, electro-mechanical parts, sleeving, wires, and wiring management accessories to multinational equipment manufacturers across various industries.
Job Description and Responsibilities
This role involves leading and supporting QA operations, particularly in incoming/outgoing inspections, value-add processes, handling customer and supplier quality concerns, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Lead the QA teams and assist the QA Manager in executing quality assurance tasks.
- Support implementation of certified quality and management systems across the company.
- Assist with organizing and managing customer quality audits.
- Conduct supplier quality system audits when required.
- Prepare monthly QA performance reports evaluating quality metrics.
- Interpret rejection criteria, assess rejected materials, and manage related quality issues.
- Oversee value-added processes and enforce quality control measures to uphold product integrity.
- Address and escalate critical events involving safety, regulatory compliance, or quality concerns.
- Manage calibration of inspection, measurement, and testing equipment.
- Assign part numbers for new products as per company procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a bachelor's degree or diploma in Science, IT, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Basic proficiency in software testing principles including manual testing, creating test cases, defect reporting, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and eagerness to learn and grow.
