Role Overview

The Project Manager for Virtual Care and Digital Health (VCDH) oversees projects tied to the rollout and launch of virtual care services across enterprise, regional, and partnership settings, along with internal initiatives for the VCDH team. The role requires strong ownership across the full project cycle and close coordination with sponsors, site leaders, and cross-functional partners involved in delivery.

This position works across multi-disciplinary stakeholder groups and multiple business areas, requiring clear communication, strong accountability, and the ability to guide teams toward outcomes within agreed timelines.

What You Will Do

• Lead projects from initiation through launch, including planning, execution, coordination, and closeout.
• Support the implementation of virtual care services at internal and external Providence customer locations.
• Partner with service line leaders, clinical operations, application analysts, licensing and credentialing, account management, nursing leadership, and other operational teams.
• Manage communication and alignment among stakeholders across departments and business units.
• Track progress, maintain accountability, and keep delivery on schedule.
• Conduct presentations and facilitate discussions with executive-level audiences.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant work experience.
• Formal training in project management, change management, and process improvement methods such as PMP/PMI, Agile, CAP, Workout, Six Sigma, LEAN, or CQIA.
• At least 3 years of experience managing projects and/or programs.
• At least 2 years of experience delivering projects with strong customer satisfaction, solid communication, and close attention to detail.
• At least 2 years of experience presenting to and facilitating executive audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification at the time of hire.
• 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
• 1 year of telehealth experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Compensation and Pay Details

The pay range varies by location. For Texas, the listed base hourly rate is $30.59 to $47.49. The job posting also lists other location-based ranges, including Alaska, California, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon, and Washington.

The employer notes that the selected candidate’s placement within the range will depend on relevant experience and other applicable factors. Additional compensation may be available, including shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
