Role Overview
The Project Director position is a full-time, on-premise role located in Nairobi County, Kenya. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of recruitment and staffing projects—covering planning, resource distribution, timelines, and quality control. The Project Director leads diverse teams, collaborates directly with clients to grasp project goals, and ensures that deadlines, service standards, and budgets are strictly adhered to.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor project progress and performance continuously to ensure alignment with expectations.
- Manage risks and resolve issues promptly to avoid disruption.
- Prepare detailed status updates and reports for stakeholders.
- Promote ongoing enhancement of processes and project results.
- Mentor and support team members to develop skills and improve collaboration.
- Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders.
- Ensure project activities align with SixFigureStaff’s strategic objectives and quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven track record in project leadership, including planning and successful delivery of complex, multi-phase projects.
- Experience in recruitment, staffing, HR consulting, or related professional services project management.
- Strong abilities in stakeholder engagement, communication, negotiation, and expectation management.
- Competency in data analysis, budget management, KPI tracking, and making decisions based on performance metrics.
- Leadership skills in team coaching, fostering collaboration, and managing performance effectively in dynamic settings.
- Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Business, Project Management, or Human Resources; advanced certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 are a plus.
- Willingness to work on-site in Nairobi County, adapting flexibly to changing client and project needs.
