Product Designer - Adobe Express

Opportunity Overview

Adobe Express is revolutionizing creative design experiences by integrating design intelligence into millions of users' workflows. This role focuses on enhancing the Color and Styling features alongside the AI Assistant interactions within the product. You will create systems that assist users in uncovering their personal style, maintaining visual consistency, and applying color and design elements, with increasing involvement of AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft complete user experiences for Color and Styling workflows, progressing from initial sketches and wireframes to detailed mock-ups and interactive prototypes.
• Develop AI Assistant functionalities to guide users in styling, refining, and customizing their designs.
• Generate clear, comprehensive design documentation and effectively communicate design rationales to team members and cross-disciplinary collaborators.
• Engage in user research and usability testing, iterating designs based on insights gathered.
• Manage your own deadlines within overall project timelines, consistently delivering high-quality outputs.
• Incorporate feedback constructively from design leads, product managers, and peers, rapidly exploring varied design solutions.
• Contribute to and uphold Adobe’s design system standards to ensure cohesive and brand-aligned experiences.

Qualifications and Skills

• Exceptional interaction and visual design capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, and AI design tools, capable of creating wireframes, polished mock-ups, and prototypes.
• Understanding of the complete product design lifecycle and various design phases.
• Strong interest in color theory, styling, and assisting users in creative expression.
• Curiosity about leveraging AI to enhance creative workflows.
• Excellent collaboration and communication aptitude, open to constructive feedback.
• A growth-oriented mindset with enthusiasm to expand design and domain expertise.
• Preferred but not required: experience with front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), logical and algorithmic thinking skills for systematic styling design, exposure to AI-powered or generative design experiences, and knowledge of motion design and animation.
• Educational background including Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience designing for desktop, mobile, or web platforms.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong design craft and polished execution across various projects.
