Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

Role overview

Hyundai Motor Europe is looking for a Procurement Manager to steer regional sourcing activities, strengthen supplier performance, and generate long-term cost and value improvements. In this role, you will act as a key partner to business teams, helping ensure procurement processes are well-governed, compliant, and effective across the region.

What you will do

• Own major sourcing programs and procurement assignments across the region, making sure they support wider business goals.
• Create and roll out procurement plans aimed at lowering cost, improving efficiency, and building lasting value.
• Shape supplier approaches, including vendor selection, assessments, performance tracking, and consolidation efforts.
• Maintain strategic supplier partnerships and drive ongoing improvements through long-term collaboration.
• Run sourcing work end to end, covering RFQs, negotiations, contract handling, and supplier onboarding.
• Lead commercial negotiations to secure strong financial and operational results.
• Work with internal teams to identify, evaluate, and reduce procurement, contractual, financial, and supply-related risks.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and National Sales Companies to share procurement expertise and best practices.
• Track procurement expenditure, review cost patterns, and uncover savings opportunities across buying categories.
• Make sure supplier agreements meet legal, regulatory, and internal governance standards.
• Help further develop the procurement function, its standards, and governance model across Hyundai Motor Europe.

About you

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Law, or a closely related discipline.
• You bring 8–10 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or purchasing in an international setting.
• You have a strong history of handling complex sourcing projects, supplier negotiations, and contract processes.
• You are well-versed in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and procurement governance.
• You understand commercial and financial fundamentals and can evaluate business impact while driving value.
• You communicate and influence effectively, with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels.
• You think analytically, solve problems well, and work with a strategic, outcome-focused mindset.
• You can juggle multiple priorities and cross-functional initiatives in a fast-moving environment.
• You are skilled in advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• You speak English fluently; additional European languages are considered an advantage.
