Process Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team in Singapore. The role involves creating detailed design documentation, participating in tender processes, reviewing vendor documents, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate design documents including Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, system layouts, and equipment data sheets according to the deliverable list.
• Engage in tender activities such as compiling tender documents, conducting clarification meetings, assessing bid submissions, and preparing tender recommendation reports.
• Conduct engineering reviews on vendor-provided documents to verify technical compliance and completeness within the project scope.
• Communicate project scope details to Process Supervisors and help ensure timely system completion.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders during Design and Execution phases including Design Managers, Lead Process Engineers, Project Managers, Safety and Quality Assurance teams, Commissioning Managers, and other discipline package owners.
• Support Lead and Senior Engineers in budgeting and cost estimation for projects.
• Assist Quality Assurance and Compliance personnel during site acceptance testing and inspection qualification.
• Provide support to Commissioning Managers during system startup, testing, commissioning, and final client turnover.
• Champion and promote safe working practices throughout project activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• Diploma holders with 2 to 3 additional years of relevant experience or professional certifications are also considered.
• Experience in design and/or construction within Deionized/Ultrapure Water, Wastewater, Chemical, or Gas Systems.
• Familiarity with international engineering codes and standards.
• Proficiency with design software tools relevant to process engineering.
