Role summary

This is a full-time, on-site plumbing position in Abu Dhabi. The plumber will handle installation, repair, and upkeep of plumbing infrastructure, including pipes, fixtures, water supply lines, and drainage networks in homes and commercial premises. The role includes identifying faults, carrying out preventive maintenance, attending service requests, and making sure all work meets local regulations and safety requirements. The position also involves speaking with customers, explaining issues, sharing clear cost estimates, keeping the work area tidy, coordinating with colleagues, documenting completed jobs, and using company tools and equipment responsibly.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ability in plumbing work such as installation, fault finding, and system setup.
• Comfort working with different pipe materials and fittings, including cutting, joining, and pressure testing.
• Background in maintenance and repair, with an emphasis on preventive care and quick issue resolution.
• Good customer-handling skills with the ability to explain problems, listen carefully, and provide courteous service.
• Familiarity with safety rules and plumbing codes relevant to the UAE, or the ability to learn them quickly.
• Ability to work independently on job sites and also cooperate effectively with a team.
• Physical fitness for manual work, including lifting, bending, and working in restricted spaces.
• Prior experience as a plumber or in a similar trade; vocational training or plumbing certification is an added advantage.
• Basic reading, writing, and number skills to understand plans, read work orders, and complete reports.
• Flexibility to work variable hours when needed and travel within Abu Dhabi for assignments.
